Help Us Bring them Home!
My husband Bruce and I have been married almost 9 years. I have 4 biological children from my previous husband. Tiffany-20, Kyrstin-17, Hailey-15 and Blaine-13. I became an ordained minister in 2002, and have longed to help children with Special Needs. I started coaching an Allstar Cheerleading Squad for Special Needs kids/adults. We are the HEAT ELITE FIRECRACKERS!
Bruce and I long to have children of our own, but due to some female issues 10 years ago, that is no longer possible. Due to the longing to help children with Special Needs, we have decided to adopt. We are hoping to adopt 2 children from the Ukraine with Down's Syndrome.
The process is fairly cut and dry, and we are hoping to bring our children home in either March or April of 2010. In order for this to be possible, we need to raise approximately $15,000 more dollars.
Please help us by donating to our Please Help Bring Us Home Fund.

On Saturday mornings, I coach an Allstar Special Needs Cheerleading Squad in New Lenox. We are part of the Heat Elite family, and our team name is the Firecrackers.
We had our first competition of the year on Saturday October 17, 2009 in Peoria Illinois.
We took first place!
Hey, great job on the new blog!! (and the kids are darling!!!) :o)
ReplyDeleteQuick question though: how do you pronounce "Reyce" and "Emmya"?
